Tape Logic® #5000 Non-Reinforced Water Activated Tape is a kraft-backed, gum-side-out tape that forms an aggressive, tamper-evident bond directly with corrugated carton surfaces upon contact with moisture. Unlike pressure-sensitive tapes, the water-activated adhesive penetrates the box surface on application, creating a seal that holds reliably even in dusty or dirty environments.
This tape is well-suited for sealing master cartons, unitized pallet loads, and paper splicing applications. Warehousing, fulfillment, manufacturing, and retail distribution operations use it wherever a tamper-evident, permanent closure is required on corrugated packaging.
The tape is 100% biodegradable, recyclable, and repulpable, making it compatible with standard paper recycling streams and corporate sustainability programs. Each case contains 20 rolls at 500 feet per roll, yielding 10,000 linear feet. Compatible water-activated tape dispensers are sold separately.
